Supplier-side advice on International Buying Groups, Service Alliances & your Total Customer Investments
For branded consumer goods manufacturers operating in Europe and negotiating with Buying Groups, Service Alliances & international customers.
Küsnacht Strategic Partners is an independent advisory firm based in Küsnacht, Zürich, focused solely on international customers on the supplier side. It acts only for branded consumer goods manufacturers, never for retailers, Buying Groups or Service Alliances. Its founder, Callum Keaveny, spent 18 years in commercial roles at Procter & Gamble, Mondelēz International & Perfetti Van Melle before founding the firm in 2025.
What we do
We exist to help suppliers prepare better, make better-informed decisions & negotiate better, so that it shows in top & bottom line performance.
We believe a supplier should hold the full picture of what it invests with each customer. Most see it in pieces, with trade spend in one function, retail media in another, national terms in the markets and international conditions at the centre. In any negotiation the better-informed side holds the advantage, and today that is usually the customer.
So we work on international customer challenges end to end, in three stages.
Visibility. A Total Customer Investment view that brings trade spend, retail media, national terms & international conditions together on one page for each customer, comparable across customers & markets.
Conditionality. A review of what each investment buys you, what it delivers, and an action plan for the money that delivers nothing.
Optimisation. Where to dial up, where to dial down, and be more intentional about where to invest and why.
So you can see the full picture, link every investment to what it buys, and put the money where it delivers the best return.
Buying Groups & Service Alliances
As we see them, Buying Groups are where retailers negotiate purchase prices together, among them Eurelec, Everest, Vasco & Concordis (Eureca). Service Alliances are where retailers sell commercial services jointly across countries, among them EPIC Partners, Coopernic, AgeCore, EMD & Concordis (CWT).
Wherever you are in your relationships with either, we can help.
What we don't do
We don't train negotiators. There are existing capability partners; ask us if you want our view on them.
We don't act for retailers, Buying Groups or Service Alliances.
We don't ask you to do anything we haven't done ourselves, or wouldn't do if it were our own company.
